Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your selected hotel according to your arrival time. At 08:30 am, we will begin our visit to the Tingo Maria National Park, starting with the Cave of the Owls, an impressive jungle cave home to various species such as parrots and bats. Then, we will head to the Aguas Sulfurosas spring, where you will enjoy a bath in its medicinal waters. We will continue to the Jacintillo viewpoint, which has panoramic views of Tingo Maria and the Huallaga and Monzon rivers. In the afternoon, we will visit the Laguna de los Milagros for recreational activities such as boating and fishing. Finally, we will stop at the Cerro de la Cruz viewpoint to admire the city and the “Sleeping Beauty” rock formation before returning for the night.
At 8:30 am, we will depart from Tingo Maria towards the Department of Ucayali, crossing the imposing Cordillera Azul at more than 1800 meters above sea level. We will descend to the Boquerón del Padre Abad, a magical place surrounded by waterfalls and the mighty Yuracyacu River. Then, we will visit the famous waterfall “Velo de la Novia”, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim in its crystal clear waters. On the way back, we will explore the mysterious Devil’s Shower, the ancient boquerón tunnel, and the peculiar UFO of the jungle. If the weather permits, we will visit the Toboganes del Velo, a It is a beautiful place with waterfalls and natural pools. Finally, we will return to Tingo Maria and transfer you to your hotel.
At 8:30 am, we will start trekking to Honolulu Waterfalls, enjoying a half-hour hike to more than six waterfalls, where you can bathe in natural pools and relax with hydrotherapeutic massages. Then, we will go on a climbing experience, ascending to a natural jacuzzi on the hill, surrounded by spectacular scenery. We will continue to the Chullachaqui Waterfalls, hidden in the forest, where it is said that the mysterious Chullachaqui appears during full moon nights. After this adventure, we will return to the city for a shopping tour and then transfer you to the travel terminal for boarding.
