Q'ESWACHAKA BRIDGE WITH 4 LAGOONS

Q’eswachaca is a traditional rope bridge located in southern Peru, near the city of Cusco. Local communities build the bridge annually using traditional techniques and materials. Q’eswachaka is the only preserved Inca bridge in Peru and is a work of engineering worth discovering Ancestral ritual was recognized in 2013 by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

RECOMMENDATION

We will start our Q’eswachaka Full Day tour at 4:30 pm, with the pick up of the participants from their respective hotels in Cusco. Once the whole group is gathered at 5:00 am, we start the tour in our tourist transportation, crossing different districts of Cusco. Our first stop will be in Cusipata, where we will enjoy a local breakfast. Afterward, we will head to the Combapata viewpoint, where we will have a panoramic view. We will continue the tour, passing through Yanaoca, one of Cusco’s eight Canas province districts. After another hour of travel, we will arrive at the district of Q’ewe, where we will find the emblematic Inca bridge of Q’eswachaka, made of vegetable fiber and with a length of 28.67 meters. We will continue our journey for another hour until we reach the beautiful lakes of Pampamarca, Asnacqocha, Acopía, and Pomacanchi, where we will stop to enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the rich flora and fauna of the region. This will be an ideal moment to immerse ourselves in the Andean culture while enjoying the views.

After lunch, we will return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 6:00 pm.
