DAY 1: CUSCO – AGUAS CALIENTES

We will leave Cusco at 09:00 a.m. to the charming town of Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley. From there, we will take the train to Aguas Calientes. You will enjoy spectacular views during the journey, making this trip a unique experience. Following the course of the Urubamba River through the Sacred Valley, we will arrive in Aguas Calientes around 1:00 pm, where you will check into your hotel. Once you have checked in, you will have the afternoon to explore. If you prefer, you can take advantage of the time to visit the Machu Picchu Museum, the orchid exhibition, or the butterfly exhibits, all located about a 30-minute walk from the village. Alternatively, you can relax in the hot springs, just a 5-minute walk from the center.

DAY 2: AGUAS CALIENTES-MACHU PICCHU-CUSCO

On the second day, we will explore the majestic citadel of Machu Picchu. After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we will go to the CONSETTUR bus station, where we will take the transportation that will take us to the imposing ruins. There, we can witness the sunrise over this impressive site. An expert guide will accompany us for approximately two hours, showing us the most critical points of Machu Picchu. At the end of the visit, we will return to Aguas Calientes, where we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo. Then, we will take a bus to Cusco. Once in Cusco, you will be dropped off near the Plaza de Armas, where this unique and memorable day will conclude.
